GS-BASE or GP-BASE? Do the spoon test

It is not the flavour name that decides the powder, it is the form of the flavouring.

The spoon test

Does the flavouring flow like a syrup? Use GS-BASE (444 g). Can a spoon stand up in it? That is a paste: use GP-BASE (588 g).

Three routes, one base

  • Syrup route: GS-BASE + about 250 g of syrup. The simplest, with bright colours for the display.
  • Paste route: GP-BASE + 170–240 g of paste. The richest, most premium taste.
  • Topping route: GP-BASE + 15 g of vanilla flavouring, then 150 g of topping in 3 layers after the machine.

All three use the same base: 2.2 kg of cold UHT milk and 220 g of 35 % cream. One sachet = one 5-litre pan.
